Processor usage trends graph

The Performance dashboard includes trend graphs that show processor usage data that is plotted against a default time interval of 4 hours.

By default, the Processor usage trends graph shows the historical data of the processor usage based on the selected time frame. You can change the time interval from the available options. For more information, see Processor usage. The X-axis represents the Timeline. The Y-axis represents the Processor units. This graph shows the aggregated processor usage data that the system is using.

The Processor usage trends graph shows details about activated, allocated, overall usage, firmware usage, VIOS usage, max usage, and the partition usage data of the selected processor. To switch from one view to another, click and highlight the specific option. For example, if you want to view details of processors that are in Activated state only, click and highlight that particular option. The highlighted area on the graph shows how the total processor usage on the physical server varies over the selected time period, in comparison with the available processor capacity.
