Configuring network settings

Learn how to view and set common network, IPv4, and DNS settings.

You can view your network settings and configurations and edit the Hostname. You can also toggle the use of domain names, DNS servers, and NTP servers.

To add a static IPv4 address, complete the following steps:
  1. Select the correct Ethernet interface (eth0 or eth1).
  2. Click Add static IPv4 address.
  3. Complete the IP address, Gateway, and Subnet mask fields.
  4. Click Add.
Note: You can delete any IPv4 address by clicking the trash icon.
To add a static DNS address, complete the following steps:
  1. Select the correct Ethernet interface (eth0 or eth1).
  2. Click Add IP address.
  3. Enter the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the Static DNS.
  4. Click Add.
Note: You can delete any static DNS address by clicking the trash icon.
