MEXIP07
Use this procedure to resolve a problem with the expansion drawer cable topology of an expansion drawer.
The four rightmost characters of word 4 of the system reference code (SRC) represent the program
reference code (PRC), which identifies the specific topology problem that was detected.
Notes:
Use the SRC and the PRC in the following table to find the problem description and the
service action to perform.On the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI), SRC words are known as hex words.
- For 9080-HEX systems, you can display hex words by choosing Show details for the selected log.
- For all other systems, you can display hex words by choosing a log and clicking the Export icon to see the details of the log. Alternatively, you can select the log and click Download additional data to display hex words for the selected log.
On the Hardware Management Console (HMC), SRC words are known as SRC extensions. You can display SRC extensions by choosing View Details for the selected serviceable event.
