Network bridge traffic
To access the Network bridge traffic page, click Network bridge traffic tab in the left navigation pane of the Performance dashboard.
The Network bridge traffic view includes historical data and trends that reflect the virtual network traffic flow through the virtual network, network bridges, and shared Ethernet adapters associated with the Virtual I/O Server over time. The Network bridge traffic page includes Current network details and System details. The current network details include details about single root I/O virtualization (SR-IOV) adapters, adapters in VIOSs, sent bytes, and received bytes. The system details include details about the state of the selected system, Machine type*Serial number, number of partitions, and the number of VIOSs for the selected system. The graph shows the Total traffic and Physical traffic per Virtual I/O Server. The table lists more detailed information about the network traffic averages and trends.
The Network bridge traffic view includes Network bridge traffic trends graph. You can choose either Total traffic or Physical traffic to view the network traffic trend for the selected option.
You can refresh the Network bridge traffic data by using the Refresh icon on the top-right side of the Network bridge traffic page. To do this, select a date range from the calendar or choose one of the time period options such as the last 4 hours, last 24 hours, last week, last month, and last year and click Refresh. The data gets refreshed for the selected time duration.
By default, the graphs and tables show data that was collected for the last 4 hours. For more information about displaying data for a longer amount of time, see Processor usage.
- Network bridge traffic trends graph: The Network bridge traffic page includes trend graphs that show the total network traffic and the physical network traffic data that is plotted against a default time interval of 4 hours.
- Network bridge traffic breakdown tables: The tabular representation
lists information that is based on network traffic for the selected time period. The following
breakdown tables are available:
- Network bridge traffic per partition
- Partition traffic per network bridge
