Setting up a console

Complete the required setup tasks for your console configuration.

Before you begin

To learn more about setting up a console, complete the following steps:
  1. Go to IBM® i Documentation website (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/i).
  2. Select Version 7.3 or Version 7.4 or Version 7.5 of the IBM i operating system that you have on your system.
  3. Expand Connecting to your system > IBM i Access > IBM i Access Client Solutions > Getting started with IBM i Access Client Solutions.
