The Performance dashboard includes trend graphs that show
memory allocation data that is plotted against a default time interval of 4 hours.
By default, the Memory allocation trends graph shows the historical data of
the memory allocation based on the selected time frame. You can change the time interval from the
available options. For more information about changing the time interval, see Processor usage. The X-axis represents the timeline. The Y-axis
represents the memory that is allocated in GB. This graph shows the aggregated memory allocation
data of the system.
Memory allocation trends graph view
The Memory allocation trends graph displays the collective
memory allocation for the partition on that server. The graph indicates the amount of memory
available for allotment in activated, allocated, firmware usage, VIOS usage, max usage, and
partition usage states. To switch from one view to another, click and highlight the specific option.
For example, if you want to view details of memory allotment in Activated
state only, click and highlight that particular option. The highlighted area on the graph shows
details about the memory allotment in activated state in comparison with the total available memory.
