Memory allocation per partition table

The memory allocation per partition table lists information that is based on partitions over the selected time period. The memory allocation per partition table is displayed at the bottom of the memory allocation per partition page.

The Memory allocation per partition table displays the names of the partitions and virtual I/O servers, the usage trends, the OS type, the assigned virtual persistent memory (GB), the affinity score, and so on.

The Memory allocation per partition table shows the memory allocation data for the logical partition. You can view the minimum and maximum memory that is assigned to the partition, and the maximum amount of memory that is assigned to the memory pool for that partition. The Usage trends column shows the overall usage trend for the assigned memory over the selected time interval.

The Memory allocation per partition table also shows information about the OS type of the partition. The assigned virtual persistent memory shows information about the persistent memory that is assigned. The persistent memory is available only when the Hardware Management Console (HMC) is at Version 9.1.940, or later, and when the firmware is at level FW940, or later.

Sorting the memory allocation per partition table

You can sort the table by clicking the up or down chevron next to the name of the column that you want to sort. You might choose to sort the columns so that you can view the entries, ranking from the lowest to the highest, or vice versa.

Filtering the memory allocation per partition table

You can search for specific entries such as the VIOS or partition name within the table. The search result shows all table rows that contain text in any cell that matches the filtered text.
