Starting the IBM Elastic Storage Server Management Server GUI

Learn how to log in to the IBM® Elastic Storage Server Management Server graphical user interface (GUI) and how to use its functions and features.

To log in to the IBM Elastic Storage Server Management Server GUI, complete the following steps:

  1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:

    https://HostName or IPAddress

    where HostName or IPAddress is the hostname or the IP address of the IBM Elastic Storage Server Management Server.

  2. Type the user ID and password that are authorized by the system administrator.
    Note: The default user ID is admin. The default password is admin001. You can change the password after you log in to the IBM Elastic Storage Server Management Server GUI.
  3. Click Login.

If the GUI is accessed through the remote web browser, use the remote network address provided by the system administrator to initiate the GUI session.
