Content in IBM® Planning Analytics Workspace

Content in Planning Analytics Workspace includes books, views, websheets, applications, plans, workbenches, and folders that are stored in the Shared folder or your personal folder. Users with Administrator, Analyst, or Modeler roles can manage access to content by setting permissions on assets and folders.

The Shared folder is the central location where content is stored and shared with other users. You can organize content by creating subfolders, and control access by setting permissions on the Shared folder, subfolders, and individual assets.

The following permission levels are available for content:
  • View only – The user can view content but cannot modify asset properties.
  • View and edit – The user can view, edit, and add content, and can set permissions on content they add to a folder.
  • Full control – The user has full administrative control over the asset or folder, including the ability to set permissions on the folder itself.
