Configure the spreadsheet services

Use the Spreadsheet Configuration tab on the Features and Configuration tile to configure the spreadsheet services.

Use the Spreadsheet Configuration tile to override spreadsheet settings in the configuration files at run time and apply these settings to the spreadsheets in both Planning Analytics Workspace books and the session for the spreadsheet that you are using (that is, Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services or Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel). Using the Spreadsheet Configuration tile does not update the configuration files (tm1web_configure.xml and evalservice_config.xml for Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services or CognosOfficeReportingSettings.xml and evalservice_config.xml for Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel).

Your configuration settings are saved for each environment and automatically apply when a spreadsheet service session starts.

To use the Spreadsheet Configuration tile, you must enable Spreadsheet services configuration from the Features and Configuration tile in Planning Analytics Administration. From Planning Analytics Administration, click the Features tab, then click the Spreadsheet services configuration toggle and confirm your selection when prompted.
