Run a process
You can use an action button to run a TurboIntegrator process.
Procedure
- Create an action button. For more information, see Add to a worksheet.
- In the Action button properties dialog box, click the check box on the Run TI process tab.

Select the process that you want to run.
- To select a process from the server that is displayed in the Database list, click the Process list and select a process. You must refresh the list to see the available processes.

To select a process from the current workbook, click the Process list
and select Get process info from worksheet. In the Process
name box, enter the process name or click
and specify a cell reference or a named range.

Specify parameters, if any, for the process. The Parameters table shows
the available parameters for the process you selected.
To specify a value for a parameter directly, enter the value in the Value cell and then press Enter.
To use a cell reference or a named range, click the Value cell and then click
. Specify the cell reference or a named range, and then click OK.

Select and type the messages that you want the action button to display by clicking the
Notification settings button. The Options dialog box
opens.
- Show success - Displays a message after the process runs successfully.
- Show failure - Displays a message if the process does not run successfully.
- Show confirmation - Displays a confirmation message before the process is run. The user can click Yes or No.

If you want to set a calculation to occur after the process runs, toggle the Post
Action Calculations option, and then select the type of calculation from the drop-down
menu.
- Automatically recalculate sheet - Refreshes the data in the current worksheet.
- Rebuild sheet - Rebuilds the TM1® Dynamic Report to its original report definition configuration.
- Click Done.
