Learn about the enhancements that have been made to Websheets in the IBM® Planning
Analytics Workspace modelling workbench.
Note: The following features require TM1®
11.8.29 or later, or TM1 v12.
- Make a websheet public or private
- You can now set a websheet to be public or private. A private websheet can only be viewed or
edited by you.
- To make a public websheet private, complete the following:
- Right-click on a public websheet in the database tree.
- Click Security.
- Click Make private. The folder icon changes to indicate that it is now a
private folder
.
- To make a private websheet public, complete the following:
- Right-click on a private websheet in the database tree.
- Click Security.
- Click Make public. The folder icon changes to indicate that it is now a
public folder
.
- Manage websheet security
- In addition to setting a websheet to be public or private, you can now modify the security of
websheets and the folder structure used to store them.
- To manage the security of a websheet, complete the following:
- Right-click on a websheet in the database tree.
- Click Websheet security. The
PlanSampLD:)ApplicationSecurity tab opens. Each public file that is part of the
websheet is displayed in table format.
- Right-click on the cell that corresponds to the file you want to change the security of. Choose
one of the following options:
- None: Members of the user group cannot see or edit the file.
- Read: Members of the user group can see the file, but cannot edit it.
- Write: Members of the user group can read and edit the file.
- Rename websheets and folders
- You can now rename websheet and folders.
- To rename a websheet or folder, complete the following:

- Right-click on the websheet or folder in the database tree.
- Click Rename websheet or Rename folder, depending
on the file you selected to rename. A dialog box appears.
- In New websheet name or New folder name, type the
new name of the websheet or folder.
- Click Rename.
- Manage native view shortcuts
- You can now add and manage native view shortcuts in websheet folders from the database
tree.
- To add a native view shortcut, complete the following:

- Right-click on a native view and select Add shortcut. The Add
shortcut menu appears.
- Type the name of the shortcut in the Name of shortcut section.
- Choose a destination for the shortcut.
- Click Add.
