Upgrading IBM® Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services/TM1 Web from version 2.0 to 2.1

Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services/TM1® Web 2.1 can be installed directly on top of an existing TM1 Web 2.0 installation.

The Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services 2.1 installer does not replace configuration files. However, it is a best practice to make a backup of any TM1 Web configuration files that have been modified prior to initiating the Planning Analytics Spreadsheet Services/TM1 Web 2.1 installation. This includes, but may not be limited to:

• <tm1web_install_dir>\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\web.xml
• <tm1web_install_dir>\webapps\tm1web\WEB-INF\configuration\tm1web_config.xml
• <tm1web_install_dir>\wlp\usr\servers\tm1web\bootstrap.properties
• <tm1web_install_dir>\wlp\usr\servers\tm1web\jvm.options
• <tm1web_install_dir>\wlp\usr\servers\tm1web\server.xml
