LDAP authentication

TM1® Server asks you for a user name and password, and validates the login information against an external LDAP server. With LDAP authentication, an LDAP security service that is external to IBM® TM1 authenticates a login. You can add, modify, and delete user security information from one location - the LDAP server or Microsoft Windows Active Directory.

Planning Analytics supports LDAP authentication for TM1 Server on Microsoft Windows. LDAP authentication is not supported for TM1 Server on Linux® or other platforms.
