Location of the auto-save backup file

The auto-save feature saves your rule to a backup file with a name based on the name of the TM1® server and cube that you are working with.

For example: _$planning sample$plan_Control.RUX.

The backup file is located in the same location as the TM1RuleEditUserPrefs.xml file.

For example: C:\Documents and Settings\current_user\Application Data\Cognos\TM1\.
