Supported features and limitations in Universal Reports

When you interact with a Universal Report in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel after a session timeout, you are prompted to sign in automatically. After successful authentication, the requested action resumes and completes without clearing the displayed report results. If a workbook contains Universal Reports that reference multiple data sources, you might be prompted to authenticate to each required data source in sequence.

Note: For Universal Reports and static Universal Reports, the maximum cell set size is controlled by the Evaluation Service configuration (MaxCellSetSize). The CellsetMaxSize setting configured in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel, TM1® Web, or Planning Analytics Workspace does not apply. If both are configured, the Evaluation Service setting takes precedence.
The following features that are supported in Universal Reports in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel, TM1 Web, and Planning Analytics Workspace websheets.
Note: A Universal Report with user-defined rows and columns from a converted cube viewer or exploration can experience unexpected behaviors when toggled or rebuilt.
