Add announcements to a plan

Announcements appear on the plan contribution page and can be used to provide general instructions and other plan details for your contributors. A plan can contain multiple announcements. When multiple announcements are present, they display in reverse chronological order, with the most recent announcement appearing first.

Before you begin

You can add tasks to a plan after you have defined a plan and assigned co-owners.

Procedure

  1. On the plan page, go to the Announcements tab to create an announcement for the plan.
  2. Click Create, then enter an announcement for the application.
    Optional: Use the Upload files option to add one or more files to the announcement. Any attachment you add here is available to users as a link on the announcement.
  3. Click Create.
