Work with assets on the modeling workbench
There are multiple ways to open and work with assets on the workbench.
Procedure

To create a new cube, dimension, process, or chore. click the appropriate asset on the
Modeling tools list.
You can also create new assets from the data tree. Right-click the appropriate node, then click Create asset_type. For example, Create cube, Create dimension, Create set, and so on. This list shows the paths to create all asset types available on the data tree, with bold text at the end of the path indicating the right-click selection.

To open and edit an existing asset, right-click the asset in the data tree, then click
Edit asset_type. For example, Edit dimension,
Edit process, Edit business rules, and so on.
When you initially open or create an asset, the editor for the asset is inserted as a new tab on the active tabset within the workbench. However, you can move editors to new regions on the workbench to create an editing environment that suits your needs.
Alternatively, you can drag and drop an exiting asset from the data tree directly onto the workbench. In this case, you can choose where to drop the asset.
