You can start, stop, or restart databases from the Databases
administration page.
About this task
On Planning Analytics Workspace Local, you cannot use the Databases page to
stop, start, or restart a database that is running as an application. The database must be running
as a service if you want to manage the database from the Planning Analytics Monitoring dashboard.

Apply when you're asked for confirmation.
Click Restart to stop and then restart a database that is running
normally. Click Apply when you're asked for confirmation.
If a database enters an unresponsive or deadlocked state, you can click End

Note:Do not use this option to stop a database that is running normally. The End
