Cube attributes provide information about the purpose of cubes. Attributes can also be
used to identify a cube type or to enable cube names to be displayed in different
languages.
About this task
You can view and edit the values for dimension attributes, but you cannot create or delete
attributes in the editor. Attributes for cubes are created in a TurboIntegrator process that uses
the cube attribute functions.
Procedure
- On the Database tree on a modeling workbench, expand a database
and right-click the Cubes node.
- Click Cube Attributes.
A modified view of the }CubeAttributes control cube opens, with individual cubes on the row axis
and attributes on the column axis.
- Click a cell at the intersection of a cube and an attribute, then enter or modify the
attribute value.
You can use cut, copy, and paste to manage attribute values. You can also use the standard view
options to manage sets and to select multiple cells, rows, or columns in the editor.
