You can specify a name and description for a custom set of data that you may want to
reuse later. You can create a custom set using items in a drop zone. Multiple custom sets may be
available in a single saved exploration.
You can save custom sets. IBM® Planning
Analytics for Microsoft Excel creates
a folder in your personal folder, My Folders, in the IBM
Cognos® Connections portal with the same name as the package
and saves the custom set information in that folder. The custom set information is not shared among
different users, even when they are using the same package. You only have access to your own custom
sets.
Custom sets can
be used in an Exploration View using dimensionally modeled relational packages
or OLAP data sources. They are not available for relational packages.
Levels cannot be saved as a custom set.
