Show distinct ancestors in the set editor
The Distinct ancestors option in the set editor Settings controls the display of parent and ancestor members when you expand selections.
Use the Distinct ancestors option in the set editor Settings to specify how parent and ancestor members are displayed when you use the Expand to or Keep with options.
If you clear the Distinct ancestors setting, multiple instances of the same ancestor might appear if a selected ancestor has multiple parents.
If you select the Distinct ancestors setting, only one instance of each ancestor appears. This setting works by automatically applying the MDX DISTINCT function to the query.
