Search and filter in plans and applications
You can search and filter on plan tasks and application sections in edit mode.
The search input field and filter button are shown
before the task or section tiles.
Tasks can be searched and filtered by assets, tags, attachments, contributors, approvers, task dependencies, status, and task progress. Sections can be searched and filtered by assets, tags, attachments, and contributors.
When you type the search keyword in the search field, the task or section tiles that contain the searched items are expanded, and the search keywords are highlighted.

To filter on tasks or sections, click
the filter button to open the Filter panel.

Use one of the following methods to filter on items:
- Type a keyword in the search field.
The search results appear below the search field. Click the result that you want to filter on. The items that contain the search result are expanded in the Filter panel. Select the related check box or button, and click Apply. The filter tag is added in the content panel, and the tasks or sections that contain the filtered results are expanded.
- Expand the items in the panel.
Select the related check box or button, and click Apply. The filter tag is added in the content panel, and the tasks or sections that contain the filtered results are expanded.

For both tasks and sections, filter and search results are not saved when you reload a page. The results are saved only when you refresh a plan.
