Commit data in Universal Reports
After you enter values in a Universal Report, you can commit your changes to save the values to the TM1® server. A new Commit changes dialog box now displays in Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel prompting you to confirm that you want to commit the changes. You can preview the changes from this dialog box before committing them.
To commit changes from the dialog box, choose one of the following options:
- Click Preview changes to view the data changes. To commit valid changes, click Commit valid. If any errors are found, the Error Report dialog box displays.
- To validate and then commit only the changed data, click Commit changes.
- To commit all data in the Universal Report without validating the data first, click Commit all. You then have the option to continue and just commit valid data, or to cancel and fix any invalid values.
To hide the prompt, you can select Hide commit confirmation in the Commit changes dialog box or enable the Hide commit confirmation setting in Planning Analytics for Excel's options.
- On the IBM® Planning Analytics tab, click Options.
- In the navigation pane, click IBM Planning Analytics.
- Under Application settings, select Hide commit confirmation and click OK.
