What's new in books and reporting - 2.1.6

The following new and changed features in books and reporting are available in Planning Analytics Workspace 2.1.6.

Get AI-generated insights with Chart insights
A new feature, Chart insights, gives AI-generated insights in the form of summaries and key points to provide an easier interpretation of the chart data. The initial release of the Chart insights feature supports English only and is available only in Planning Analytics Workspace Cloud.
Extended language support for Planning Analytics AI assistant
The Planning Analytics AI assistant now supports English, Spanish, French, and German.
New advanced synchronization options for member change
Two new options, Member and leaves and Leaves, are now available for member change events under Advanced synchronization.
New waterfall visualization
New type of waterfall visualization is now available.
Use action buttons to synchronize groups and hierarchies on navigation
With the new Advanced context feature in action buttons, you can now pass context and synchronize groups between books on navigation. Widgets in the same group synchronize together. You can also select which hierarchies are used to pass context.
Thumb cells formatting options for a view
Format manager now includes options to format the thumb cells in a view.
Saving a cube view as a native view
You can now save a cube view as a native view.
Action button search function
The search function for selecting databases and processes for an Action button in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace has been improved.
Changed Selector menu options
The menu options for adding the Selector widget are changed. These options are now available also from the Data tree.
Views exported to Excel indented based on member relationship
All cube views that you export to Excel now include indentation on rows where there is a parent-child relationship between the members even if the rows aren't indented in Planning Analytics Workspace.
