Creating Pick Lists
A pick list is a list of valid values for a specific element or cube cell. When an
administrator defines a pick list for an element or a cell, a drop-down menu containing the defined
values is available in the specified cell when browsing a cube in any of the TM1 clients.
Values in cells containing a pick list are validated; a user must select one of the predefined values for the cell. If a user attempts to enter a value that is not valid for the cell, an error appears indicating that only values from the pick list can be entered in the cell.
