Installing and configuring

Get IBM® Pipeline Automation for Z from Shopz and install its bundled products separately.

1. Download the FMIDs of the bundled products from Shopz and install them separately through SMP/E. These tasks are intended for system programmers.
   The installation instructions of the FMIDs are provided in the following program directories:

   • IBM Dependency Based Build program directory
   • IBM ZCodeScan program directory
   • IBM Wazi Deploy program directory
2. Complete the next installation and configuration steps that are explained in the following host configuration guides:
   • IBM Dependency Based Build host configuration guide. Install IBM Dependency Based Build 3.0.5 and apply its 3.0.5.1 maintenance PTF. For more information, see Fix list for Dependency Based Build.
   • IBM ZCodeScan host configuration guide. IBM Pipeline Automation for Z bundles the ZCodeScan Command Line Interface (ZCodeScan CLI). This CLI is primarily intended to run on IBM Z®. So, make sure you meet the requirements that are listed in Requirements on z/OS® and follow the explanations in Installing IBM ZCodeScan on z/OS. The explanations in Installing IBM ZCodeScan on a distributed environment apply to ZCodeScan when it is available through other offerings.

     Install the latest version of IBM ZCodeScan. For more information about the IBM ZCodeScan versions, see Fix list for IBM ZCodeScan.

   • IBM Wazi Deploy host configuration guide. Install the latest version of IBM Wazi Deploy. For more information, see Fix list for IBM Wazi Deploy.
