Optionally, you can link a distribution list to a set of
printer attributes. This set of printer attributes will provide values
only for the "dynamic printing parameters" that are stored in the
BJTDAT table. (The BJTDAT table will also contain any "dynamic printing
parameters" that were captured from the SYSOUT.)
For this set of printer attributes to be used, the Dynamic
Print field must be set to Report in a report definition
that is linked to the distribution list.
To link a distribution
list to a set of printer attributes:
- From the Output Manager main
menu, choose A, Administrative Functions.
- From the Administrative Functions menu, choose option D,
Distribution Lists. The Distribution Lists panel is displayed.
- In the CMD column, type
S (Select)
next to the distribution list to which you want to link a set of printer
attributes. The Distribution List panel is displayed.
- From the Link pull-down menu, choose option 1,
Choose a printer attribute, and press Enter.
The Printer
Attribute Selection pop-up window is displayed:
- In the CMD column, type
S (Select)
next to the set of printer attributes that you want to use, and press
Enter. The Distribution List panel is redisplayed. The Print
Attr field displays the name of the set of printer attributes
that you selected.
