Reprinting an entire bundle instance

You can reprint a closed bundle instance in its entirety from the Bundle History panel.

Output Manager reprints all of the reports that were collected for the recipients in the bundle prior to bundle deactivation. Any reports that were defined in the bundle definition but not produced and captured are not included in the reprint request.

To reprint an entire bundle instance:

  1. From the Output Manager main menu, choose option A, Administrative Functions, and press Enter.
  2. From the Administrative Functions menu, choose option N, Bundle Administration, and press Enter.
  3. From the Bundle Administration menu, choose option H, Bundle History, and press Enter. The Bundle History panel is displayed.
  4. In the CMD column, type R (Reprint) next to the closed bundle instance that you want to reprint, and press Enter.
Note: You can reprint only one bundle instance at time.
  5. Press Enter to continue.
The Bundle Instance panel is displayed. The recipients of this bundle are listed in the bottom portion of the panel.
  6. Use the R (Reprint) line command to select and deselect bundle recipients to be included in the bundle reprint. When a slash (/) is displayed in the Sel column of a bundle recipient, that recipient is included in the reprint.
  7. Press PF3.
The Summary of Reprint Request panel is displayed.
  8. Press Enter to continue.
The Confirm Reprint Request panel is displayed.
  9. Optionally, you can specify a new value in the Job name field. The new job name value will override the job name value in the job card. If left blank, the jobname from the PDS member is used.
  10. Optionally, you can specify a new value in the Print job member field if you want to use another bundle print job.
Type the name of the PDS member that contains the print job that you want to use. This member must reside in the PDS that is specified by the PRINT_PDS configuration parameter in the Policy Administration panels.
  11. When you are ready to print the bundle, press Enter.
Output Manager submits the specified print job for execution.

If you do not want to print the selected bundle instance, specify CANCEL instead. The Bundle History panel is redisplayed; the bundle instance is still selected. You can 1) select another bundle instance for reprinting; 2) use the S (Select) line command to drill down to the recipients and reports in the bundle instance and select a subset of them for a partial reprint operation; or 3) exit the panel without printing a bundle instance.
