Undefined report information (layout, banner, printer attribute,
distribution list, and whether the undefined report is enabled or
disabled), is specified in the report selection rule.
To configure the undefined distribution list
- Navigate to the Report Rule panel:
- From the Output Manager main
menu, choose option A, Administrative Functions, and press
Enter.
- From the Administrative Functions menu, choose option R,
Report Selection Rules, and press Enter. The Report Rules panel is
displayed.
- Type E (edit) in the CMD column
next to the report selection rule that you want to configure to collect
unreported pages, and press Enter. The Report Rule panel is displayed.
- From the LINK drop-down list, select the LAYOUT that the
undefined report will be associated with. An undefined report MUST
be associated with a layout, and each layout can only have one undefined
report definition.
Note: If an enabled custom report exists
for this layout, the undefined report will automatically be enabled.
If no custom report is enabled for this layout, the undefined report
will be disabled. An undefined report can only be enabled if at least
one custom report is enabled for the layout and at least one Report
Selection Rule associated with the layout has Match Name set to NO
(if Match Name = YES, custom report processing is unavailable).
- Optional: You can add or edit a printer attribute,
and distribution list to your undefined report to control how the
undefined report is distributed. To do so, select the appropriate
option from the LINK drop-down menu and follow the search selection
prompts. Press PF3 to return to the Report Rule panel.
- Type SAVE on the command line and press Enter.
- From the LINK drop-down list, select Choose Undef. Dist.
List and then specify search criteria to select a distribution list.
