IBM® Optim Test Data Management is deployed as a containerized application using Podman.

The deployment supports:

  • Single-node clusters
  • On-premises, private cloud, or public cloud environments
  • An Apache Spark runtime container for distributed data processing

At a high level, the IBM Optim deployment workflow is as follows:

  1. Configure infrastructure and secrets.
  2. Deploy services using Podman Compose.
  3. Access the UI or APIs to begin workflow creation.
