Data validation inIBM® Sterling Business Center

In Sterling Business Center, inputs requests are validated on server and user interface (UI). Server-side validation validates the data that is entered in the user interface.

If the data entered by the user does not pass the validation rule, a descriptive error message is displayed indicating the reason for the validation failure. In the UI, the validation completely depends on the data type mapping of an input field.
