If you are currently using Order Hub, and you want to take advantage of
the new capabilities and benefits that are included with next-generation Order Hub, you can
move to next-generation Order Hub.
About this task
You must be a tenant administrator to perform this task.
Procedure
-
For each environment (Development, Quality assurance, Preproduction, Production, and so forth),
move the tenant and user settings from the Order Hub tenant to the next-generation Order Hub environment by following the steps.
- Log in to Order Hub at www.supply-chain.ibm.com.
- Go to .
- Click Migrate settings.
Clicking Migrate settings moves the saved tenant and user preferences into the respective
Order Management
Software database.
- The tenant preferences are moved to plt_property_metadata.
- The user preferences are moved to plt_user_ui_state.
You can view most of the tenant preferences by selecting Setttings > Display
settings. For more information about tenant settings, see Configuring settings. User preferences refer to
all of the search form, table, and summary fields preferences.
- Validate the migration by running the following queries.
select * from plt_user_ui_state where APPLICATION_NAME=’OH’ order by MODIFYTS desc;
select * from plt_property_metadata where base_property_name like ‘%orderhub%’
You
can perform this next step multiple times. For example, you can do this when you first explore the
move to
next-generation Order Hub. You perform this step a final time when you complete the
move to
next-generation Order Hub.
- Log in to Self
Service.
- Go to .
- For each environment (Development, Quality assurance, Preproduction, Production, and so
forth), get the URL needed to log in to next-generation Order Hub.
- Share the URL with the business users.
You can continue to use both Order Hub and next-generation Order Hub at the same time.
- If you have customizations, inform your Developers to migrate and upload your
customizations to next-generation Order Hub by using Self
Service. For
more information, see Migrating
customizations to next-generation Order Hub.
- When you want to stop users from accessing Order Hub and exclusively use
the next-generation Order Hub environment, go to

delete the users.
