Updating

IBM provides major and minor updates for IBM Sterling® Order Management System per the schedules.

Major updates
Major updates are quarterly releases that include one or more or all of the following components – application binaries for bug fixes, new enhancements and security fixes, and OS and Middleware version update. IBM publishes the major update schedule at the beginning of every year to help you plan your yearly project plans such that it does not impact the IBM published upgrade schedule.
Minor updates
Minor updates include features, enhancements, fixes for the reported issues and other fixes. When IBM releases a minor update to IBM Sterling Order Management System, you must update your environment.
Order Hub resolved issues
Resolved issues in Order Hub as part of the IBM Sterling Order Management System version 25.0 and the subsequent minor updates.
Deprecation notice for IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition, Version 8 on Sterling Order Management System platform
IBM Sterling Order Management System on SaaS and containers is transitioning from IBM® SDK, Java™ Technology Edition, Version 8 to IBM Semeru Runtime® Open Edition for Java 21 with Eclipse OpenJ9+ with ongoing support for IBM Semeru JDK 21+. You must migrate to IBM Semeru JDK 21+ as it will be the supported version for all applications.
