You can delete an existing Customer Contact Type, using
the Customer Contact Type screen.
- Navigate to Customer
Contact Type screen. To navigate to the Customer
Contact Type screen, perform the following steps:

Log in to Sterling Business Center as an
Enterprise Administrator.
- From the System Setup Home page,
expand the Customer Definitions menu, and then
click Customer Contact Type .
The
Customer Contact Type screen is displayed. Existing customer contact
types, if any, are displayed.
- In the Customer Contact Type screen, click the customer
contact type you want to delete and then click the Delete button.
A confirmation message is displayed.
- Click Yes to delete the customer
contact type.
Note: When you delete a customer contact type from Sterling Business Center and it is being used in Sterling Field SalesSterling Call Center, then the Code Value is displayed in place of the value entered in the Short Description in Sterling Field SalesSterling Call Center.
