Creating an item alias type

You can create an item alias type.

1. From the tree in the application rules side panel, choose Catalog Configurations > Item Alias Types.
2. The Item Aliases window displays in the work area. Choose the Create New icon. The Alias Type Details pop-up window displays.
3. In Item Alias Type, enter the value you want to use for the alias type.
   Important: The Item Alias Type cannot begin with a number or have a space or special characters in it.
4. In Short Description, enter a brief description of the item alias type.
5. In Long Description, enter a more detailed description of the item alias type.
6. Choose the Save icon.
