Unexpectedly high number of rows in the YFS_ORDER_DATE or YFS_ADDITIONAL_DATE database tables
You might notice that you have an unexpectedly high number of rows in the YFS_ORDER_DATE or YFS_ADDITIONAL_DATE database tables. The high number of rows might not impact performance but the extra rows can cause unnecessary processing.
Problem
Milestone entries were added in the YFS_STATUS_MILESTONE table to use as status options when creating Alert rules.
As a result, the Sterling™ Order Management System created applicable entries in the YFS_ORDER_DATE table for all orders and entries in the YFS_ADDITIONAL_DATE table for all shipments.
Solution
If you are not using alert rules, or are not using some of the default milestones, it is recommended that you remove these milestones to avoid the database overhead of creating database entries in the YFS_ORDER_DATE or YFS_ADDITIONAL_DATE tables.
