Applications manager, channel applications manager, or system management console does not start
If you are using Internet Explorer with the pop-up
blocker turned on, the Applications Manager, Channel Applications
Manager, or System Management Console can fail to start.
Problem
The Applications Manager, Channel
Applications Manager, or System Management Console can fail to start
under the following conditions:
- The application (Sterling™ Order Management System or Sterling Configure, Price, Quote) is installed on a server.
- You are using Internet Explorer installed on your client machine to open either the Applications Manager, Channel Applications Manager, or System Management Console.
- Internet Explorer has the pop-up blocker turned on.
Solution
In Internet Explorer, turn off the pop-up blocker.
Add https://<hostname>:<port>/ to the trusted site list in the Internet
Explorer.
Add https://<hostname>:<port>/ to the exception site list in the security
settings of the Java control panel.
In the Advanced tab of the Java console, clear Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format under the Advanced Security settings. Select only the Use TLS 1.0, Use TLS 1.1, and Use TLS 1.2 options.
