Backing up Sterling Order Management System configurations

You can create a backup of the Sterling™ Order Management System databases, configurations, and customizations from the Processes tab of Self Service.

About this task

You can take multiple backups of the application. However, only the latest backup is saved on the drop server.

To take a backup of the databases and configurations, complete the following steps:

1. Access Self Service with your IBMid.
2. From the Self Service menu, click Environments.
3. From the list of environments, select an environment.
4. On the Processes tab, click Start process.
5. From the Process list, select Backup & Restore OMoC.
6. From the Choose the operation drop-down list, select Backup.
7. Click Submit.
