Searching for return shipments

The Shipment Returns page provides a simple user interface to search for and view all return shipments that are available in your system.

Customers might call to inquire about the status of the products that they returned, expecting a refund. In such cases, you can search for the return shipment by using the details that are provided by the customer.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. Click Shipment > Returns from the menu.
  3. Select a return level from the Search for list. This option determines the scope of the search and how much information to show in the search results.
    Choice Description
    Return shipment Search for return shipments. The search results display general shipment information.
    Return container Search for return containers. The search results display specific containers in an shipment.
  4. Optional: Enter search criteria.
    • To view all return shipments across all enterprises, leave the rest of the fields blank.
    • An Enterprise drop-down menu is available only if you have more than one enterprise within your network.
    • Some search fields are only displayed based on the Document type and Search for option that you choose.
    • The search is case-sensitive.
    • You can configure the search fields that display on the page by clicking Customize search criteriaSettings icon that looks like a gear.. This option provides other fields to help you narrow your search results.
    • You can click Save search to save the search criteria for future use. After you save, you can reload by clicking Saved searches at the top of the page and select your saved search.
  5. Click Search.
    • The search results page displays a list of results that match your search criteria.
    • To view actions that you can complete, select a checkbox next to an entry in the table or click the overflow menu (Three vertical dots).
    • On the details page, some actions are dynamic and only display if you are allowed to complete the action. For example, Actions > Confirm shipment does not display for shipments that are already confirmed.
  6. Click a search result to view more details.
    The information that is available depends on the return order level that you are searching.
