Prerequisites for migrating to Sterling Order Management System SaaS

Before you start the migration process, complete the prerequisites.

  • Upgrade to the latest version of Sterling™ Order Management System on-premise as there are structural changes in the database.
  • The Sterling Order Management System SaaS environments are upgraded to the latest major or minor version. Otherwise, the CDT on target cloud environment fails.
  • The local developer toolkit must match with the Sterling Order Management System SaaS version. Otherwise, the CDT on target cloud environment fails.
  • The timezone of the yfs.install.localecode property is always set to UTC.

    The default value of this property is set to en_US_EST. However, for Sterling Order Management System SaaS, the value is overridden to en_US_UTC.
