Configuring fulfillment options
You can configure store fulfillment rules for a store by using Sterling™ Business Center.
Procedure
Note: The fields that are marked with * are mandatory.

Navigate to the Store Fulfillment Rules wizard. To navigate to the
Fulfillment Rules wizard, complete the following steps:
- Log in to Sterling Business Center as an Enterprise Administrator. The Business Center home page opens.
- Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.

Expand the Store Administration menu, and click Fulfillment
Rules.
The Store Fulfillment Rules window opens.
- Select Allow Gift Wrap to allow a gift item to be gift wrapped.
- Select Reserve Product During Order Entry and Order Modification to reserve inventory for the items that are included in an order during order capture or modification.
- Select Allow Modifications of Orders Beyond Scheduled Status to allow a user to modify orders that are beyond Scheduled status.
- Select Get Product Availability From Cache to always display inventory availability from cache, if applicable.

Configure the following rules to display alternate stores appropriately:
- In the Distance Radius To Consider When Searching for Stores field, enter a number to determine the radius to consider when a user searches for stores.
- In the Maximum Distance Radius To Consider When Searching for Stores field, enter a number to indicate the maximum radius to consider when a user searches for stores.
- From the Distance UOM To Consider When Searching for Stores list, select the unit of measure for the distance considered when the user searches for stores.
- From the Standard Search Fulfillment Type for Shipping list, select the sourcing rule. This rule determines the correct set of nodes to be considered for availability checks in the order entry and clienteling flows, when Ship is chosen as the fulfillment method.
- From the Standard Search Fulfillment Type for Pickup list, select the sourcing rule. This rule determines the correct set of nodes to be considered during availability checks in the order entry and clienteling flows, when Pickup is chosen as the fulfillment method.
- From the Standard Search Fulfillment Type for Provided Services list, select a sourcing rule. This rule is used while searching nearby stores in the in-store appointments flow.
- From the Region Schema To Use For State Selection list, select the schema to be used to display the list of states for a chosen country.
- From the Region Schema To Use For Defaulting City and State From Postal Codes list, select the schema to default the city and state information based on the postal code.
- In the Check availability on cart details if number of order lines is less than field, enter a value that limits the number of products that an order can contain for availability checks. If the number of products in an order exceeds this value, the order is considered a large order.
- In the Maximum number of days after order date to disallow adding an order line field, enter a value that limits the number of days post order creation for adding a new order line to the order.
- In the Number of Days To Consider For Showing Appointment Slots In Work Order Screen field, enter a value that limits the number of days beyond which appointments cannot be scheduled.
- Click Save.
