Getting Started with Sterling Business Intelligence

The Sterling™ Business Intelligence is an analytical solution that is used to aggregate data across Sterling Order Management System and generate performance measures relevant to the business. This document describes the relevance of business measures, steps to view the reports, and how the various metrics are computed.

Note: Unlike earlier releases, the Business Intelligence application is no longer available because the underlying components of the Business Intelligence reporting infrastructure have been reorganized. Therefore, the sample reports that are provided can be generated and viewed using the IBM® Cognos® Analytics application.

This document is intended for use by application developers, system administrators, and analytic users who use Business Intelligence to design, deploy, and analyze reports that present the data from multi-enterprise order, inventory, or catalog data from various angles enabling you to quickly identify performance trends and make consistent, coordinated decisions to strengthen your supply chain relationships.
