You can modify an existing receiving reason that would be used by store associates while
receiving shipments.
Procedure

Navigate to the Receiving Reason window. To navigate to the Receiving Reason window, perform
the following steps:
- Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as an
Enterprise Administrator. The Business Center home page opens.
- From the Organization menu, select the organization for which you want to
apply the rules.
- Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.
- Expand the Receiving menu, and click Receiving
Reasons. The Receiving Reason window opens.

In the Short Description field, click and modify the short description of the receiving
reason.

In the Description field, click and modify the short description of the receiving reason.

Click Save. The receiving reason is updated.
