Adding return reasons

You can add return reasons that a store associate can select when a creating a return order.

Procedure

  1. Perform the following steps to create return reason codes:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as a system administrator.
    2. From the Organization menu, select the organization for which you want to apply the rules.
    3. Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.
    4. Expand the Return Order menu.
  2. Select Return Reason. The Return Reason page opens.
  3. Click Add. The New Value window opens.
  4. In the Reason field, enter the reason for the return.
  5. In the Reason Name field, enter the name of the return reason.
  6. In the Reason Description field, enter the description of the return reason, if applicable.
  7. Click Save. A success message is displayed.
