Modifying item quantity in a quote

A user can modify the quantity of the items in a quote.

Sometimes a Field Sales Representative may have to modify the quantity of the items in a quote. For example, a customer, who had earlier planned to purchase only 10 desktop computers, may have had a change of mind and may want to purchase 15. In such a scenario, a Field Sales Representative may want to change the item quantity as requested by the customer.

Solution

A user can modify the quantity of the items in a quote. A user can modify the quantity of the quote line items and the recommended line items. The changeOrder API is called to save the changes made to the order.

You must configure the quote modification rules appropriately to allow a user to modify the quantity of items in a quote in a particular status.
