Enabling remote queues

An Organization Administrator can enable the option to support remote queues for specific environments.

Procedure

  1. Access Self Service with your IBMid.
  2. Click the Self Service menu, and then click General preferences.
  3. Under the Environment preferences, select the environments for which you want to enable remote queues.
  4. Click Update.

Results

When remote queues are enabled for an environment, users with the Developer role can create remote queues, which facilitate communication with the queue manager that is outside the IBM Sterling Order Management System application.
Note: You cannot disable remote queues after you have enabled it.
