Deleting queues

Users with the Developer role can delete the queues.

About this task

A user with the Production Developer role can delete both successful and failed queues in the Production environment. A user with the non-Production Developer role can delete only the failed queues in the Production environment.

Procedure

  1. Access Self Service with your IBMid.
  2. From the Self Service menu, click Environments.
  3. From the list of environments, select an environment.
  4. Next-generation platformIn the Queue configuration tab, click the Local queues or Remote queues tab, and then click the Name hyperlink.
    1. For local queues, in the Queue summary section, click Delete.
    2. For remote queues, in the Update remote queue page, click Delete.
  5. Legacy platformIn the Queue configuration tab, click the Name hyperlink, and then click Delete.
  6. Specify your IBMid and confirm the deletion.
