Enabling packing without searching for orders

You can configure the rule to allow store associate to pack products without first searching for orders.

About this task

This rule is enabled by default. To enable or disable the "Enable packing without searching for orders" rule, follow the procedure.

Procedure

  1. Perform the following steps to view store administration rules:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as a system administrator.
    2. From the Organization menu, select the organization for which you want to apply the rules.
    3. Click System Setup. The System Setup home page opens.
    4. Expand the Store Administration menu. A list of store administration rules is displayed.
  2. Expand Store Packing Rules menu. A list of store packing rules is displayed.
  3. Click After Packing Preferences. The After Packing Preferences screen is displayed.
  4. In the Enable packing without searching for orders panel, select Yes to allow product packing without searching for orders, or No to disallow product packing without searching for orders.
  5. Click Save and Apply Settings To All Stores.
