Scheduling server processes on the legacy platform

Users with the Developer role can set schedules to trigger an agent server criteria or to start or stop an agent or integration server from the Server configuration tab at a specific time once or repeatedly.

About this task

You can set the schedule to be daily or weekly. When you configure the schedule to be daily, you can select the time of the day to run the process. When you configure the schedule to be weekly, you can select the day of the week, and the time of the day to run the process.

You can perform the following actions for the scheduled servers. You must select a process to perform any action for the process that is listed in the Scheduled servers page.

Action Description
New You can schedule a process for the agent or integration server.
Edit You can edit a scheduled process. Select a process that you need to update. You can update all the details except for the process name.
Suspend You can suspend an active process.
Resume You can resume a suspended process.
Delete You can delete any process.

Procedure

To schedule server processes, complete the following steps:

  1. Access Self Service with your IBMid.
  2. From the Self Service menu, click Environments.
  3. From the list of environments, select an environment.
  4. If you select Trigger agent server, enter the Agent criteria ID.
  5. If you select Start server or Stop server, select the Server name and the Enable verboseGC output checkbox.
  6. Set the Schedule for the process.

    The time is scheduled in the Coordinated Universal Time.

  7. Click Submit.
